New York, NY – August 26, 2022 – Isaac Health (www.myisaachealth.com) is excited to announce the launch of its nationwide memory café–IsaaCafé by Isaac Health–on September 8, 2022. Creating a virtual community space for people living with memory issues (and their friends & family), the nation’s first online memory clinic emphasizes that managing life with memory issues isn’t just about taking medication and minimizing challenges. It’s also about living each day to its fullest. By offering much-needed psychosocial support, and democratizing access to expert clinical programming and guidance, IsaaCafé by Isaac Health wants to meet people where they are: at home.
It’s been 25 years since memory cafés were first created as spaces for people dealing with various forms of dementia to find socialization, entertainment, companionship, or a place to get information. With the ongoing effects of COVID still with us–and likely to stay for years–memory cafés are needed now more than ever. Recognizing that COVID continues to present many physical barriers to people obtaining needed psychosocial support, Isaac Health decided to use its national platform to ensure anyone and everyone can enjoy the benefits of a memory café.

On the second Thursday of every month (starting Sept. 8th) from 3:30 – 5:00 pm EST, IsaaCafé by Isaac Health looks forward to welcoming people to socialize, ask questions, and enjoy rotating programming on health-related topics and resources for caregivers. The first 30 minutes will start with caregiver resources information and/or interactive Q&A with alternating cognitive therapists and neurologists, followed by the social time, music, trivia, and more.
