Dr. Joel Salinas, MD, MBA, MSC, FAAN (Chief Medical Officer)

Dr. Joel Salinas is a neurologist, scientist, speaker, and writer who trained at Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts General Hospital Department of Neurology. He specializes in cognitive-behavioral neurology and practical approaches to brain health. As a clinician-scientist, he studies the psychosocial determinants of brain health, harnessing these insights to develop better tools and strategies for preserving healthy cognitive function, enhancing resilience, and promoting physical, mental, and social well-being within societies. Dr. Salinas is the Lulu P. and David J. Levidow Assistant Professor of Neurology in the Department of Neurology’s Center for Cognitive Neurology at the New York University Grossman School of Medicine. He is also Director of the Universal and Nuanced Insights for COgnitive ResilieNce (UNICORN) Lab.
